Parents, we need your help!!!
The band must have volunteer help in order to perform and compete at the highest level.  We need your help to build props, move equipment, make repairs, chaperone, and run our contests at Midland Valley.  None of these jobs require experience, and it's the most fun you'll ever have with a bunch of rowdy teenagers.  Right now, we need some parents to volunteer for a couple of special jobs:
  • Section parent - each section of the band (trumpets, clarinets, etc.) needs a couple of parents to serve as "den mothers (or dads)" for the section.  It's just a matter of making sure section members have all their uniform parts and such before leaving for contests, maybe asking parents to send refreshments for the section, etc. 
  • Uniform crew - the band needs a few parents to handle uniform fittings, making repairs, sewing on buttons, etc.

Everyone should be working on band accounts by signing up superior supporters.  Please print the form and turn it in with payment.
