Working in Concession PDF Print E-mail

Update!!  The 2010 football game concession stand work roster is now available online!!

Working in the concession stand during home footballs is a great way to help work off a students fair share amount. Here are a few things to remember.

  1. Please sign up in advance for any game at which you would like to work. Sign up sheets are available for each home game. Please be sure to put your phone number on the sign up sheet so that we can call you to remind you prior to the game. All schedules will be completed and posted prior to each game. Only those workers scheduled in advance to work will be given free access to the game.
  2. Credits to the students fair share accounts will not be posted until after the entire football season is complete. The total porfits will be divided by the total hours worked to determine the dollar per hour that will be credited. In the past that amount has been approximately $5 per hour but this is not a set amount. Again, we will not know the amount until the season is complete.
  3. All workers must sign in to and out of the concession stand and indicated on the sign-in sheet what student account should be credited for their work. If you do not sign in and out, you will no receive credit for the hour worked. This is the only "fair" way to determine who worked when and where.
  4. Every effort will be made to rotate workers within the concession stands so that every one has an opportunity to work off their account.
  5. If you are interested in signing up, please visit the Concession Stand Work Request Form.

Do you buy groceries? Ever run up to the store for ice cream at 11 pm? Well since you've probably done both, make sure your next trip is to Bi-Lo! By using your Bi-Lo card along with the Midland Valley Band Boosters boosterplus card, you can be helping the band while satisfying that sweet tooth. All you need to do is print off the boosterplus card and take it to Bi-Lo on your next trip. Have the cashier scan the boosterplus card and your Bi-Lo during your purchase. After that, your Bi-Lo card and the Midland Valley Band Booster boosterplus card will be linked together. Each time you scan your Bi-Lo card during a purchase, Bi-Lo will give our band 1% of your total. So from now until May 31 of next year, eat as much ice cream as you'd like!! Ok, eats some veggies too and make Mom happy!

Now you'll notice that the form on our site has four boosterclubs on it. Cut the other forms out and give them to your friends and family. Have them link their Bi-Lo card and our boosterplus card together too. These forms can be used at any Bi-Lo!

Midland Valley High School is located in Aiken County, South Carolina just a few miles from the Georgia border and Augusta, Georgia.  The school serves the communities of Graniteville, Vaucluse, Warrenville, Gloverville, Langley, Bath, and Clearwater.  The school opened in 1980.
The "Pride of the Valley" band is one of the premier AAA marching band programs in the state.  The band has been to the state marching band finals every year since 1986, and is well known for innovative, crowd-pleasing shows.  Practice begins in mid-July for the fall show, and the band practices about 45 hours for each minute of the show.  "The Pride" was the Lower State Marching Champions in 2003 and 1999.

The band has also received the SCBDA Outstanding Performance Award 1993-2000, 2002-2009.  This award must be earned through excellence in all areas of music performance, including marching, concert festivals, honor band auditions, and solo and ensemble performances.

The band marched in the 2002 National Independence Day Parade in Washington.
