Region Auditions News!!!
Congratulations to Blake Allen, Michael Castro, Drew Dickey, and Judson Valentine.  All qualified for All-State Auditions.

Congratulations to Blake Allen, Cameron Davis, Drew Dickey, Michelle Godsmark, Krista Tucker, and Judson Valentine on their selection to the Governor's All-Star Band.

Marching Band

The Pride finished seventh in the 2002 State Marching Band Championships on October 26.  The order of finish for the top twelve bands in South Carolina was York, Clover, Lugoff-Elgin, Wren, Camden, Union, Midland Valley, Brookland-Cayce, West Florence, Pickens, Daniel, and Strom Thurmond.  Congratulations to all the bands.

The band competed in four competitions and earned a "Superior" rating in all four.

Midland Valley finished a strong third in the 3A Lower State Championships, held on October 19.   Photos!

Congrats to Drew Dickey, named best 3A drum major at the Southern States competition in Camden.

The Pride of the Valley swept all 3A caption awards, won the 3A division, and tied for Grand Champion at Music in Motion!  The Pride finished first in drum major, first in horn line, and second in percussion for the entire competition.
